Durham has a comprehensive vaccination program for children and adults. You are encouraged to get vaccinated even if you are healthy, as the vaccine makes your immune system more resistant to disease. Durham provides routine vaccinations for babies, children, and adults free of charge.

The physician or nurse practitioner on duty would send a prescription to the pharmacy of the patient’s choice. This would generally be done after an initial virtual visit. The patient would pick up the vaccine and bring it to our clinic for injection to be done.
